NOBLE CONTOUR / CONTINUOUS FENCING is the ideal
pasture or perimeter fence. It is horse safe, extremely durable
and requires zero maintenance. Contour Fencing is as attractive
as it is strong, offering lasting beauty through decades of use.
The CONTOUR FENCE is a permanent fence that is designed to
flow up and down with the contour of the ground and maintain a
smooth top line. It is a post and rail fence constructed of
American-made 1-5/8” 15 gauge round galvanized steel tube.
Noble Contour Fencing is easy to install.
Fence posts are fabricated in either a 7’ or 8’ length depending
upon the height of fence. These posts are set in concrete on
either 8’ or 10’ centers (dictated by the strength of fence
desired). The fence rails are made to slide through the posts.
Fence rails are 21’ in length and include a 3” long reduction
swage on one end for joining rails together. The slip joint does
not need to reside at a post. After the rails are in position,
self-tapping screws (supplied) are used to lock each rail to
each post.

Installing the
Contour Fence.
We manufacture this new style of permanent fencing out of the
same galvanized steel tubing as our high-grade panels and gates.
The post and rail system is the perfect solution for continuous
fencing of uneven terrain.The rails "contour" with the lay of
the land, whether it is flat or on a steep grade. Contour
fencing is available in the
Noble-design 3,
4, 5 or 6 rail fencing or can be custom-built to a specified
spacing and number of rails.
The
Noble Gate
can be used in the fence line where needed.
The height and rail spacing of the fence is designed to match
a NOBLE PANEL or GATE. Three and four rail fences have a 12-1/2”
inside rail spacing and the five and six rail fences have an
8-1/2” inside rail spacing. We recommend the height of the fence
be set equal to the height of a matching panel: 5’ high in five
rail, 5-1/2’ high in six rail, etc. Custom height and rail
spacing may be ordered (a minimum 500’ required).
NOBLE CONTOUR FENCING can be expanded at any time
using either NOBLE PANELS or more NOBLE CONTOUR FENCING. Panels
may be attached anyplace on a fence where there is a vertical
post. Simply use a standard panel clamp to attach a panel to the
fence.
NOBLE GATES are used in the fence line and are set between
specially made posts called End/Gate Posts. Similar to a
standard Line Post, the End/Gate Post adds a third vertical tube
off-set in a triangular fashion. Gates are hinged and latched
off this third tube. It also acts as a terminating stop for the
fence rails.
Corners are easy to make with NOBLE CONTOUR FENCING. There is
no need for a special corner post. We fabricate “L” type and “T”
type corner fittings that slide over each rail. The “L” type
fitting are for turning corners and the “T” type fitting are for
cross fences. These fittings are made at ninety degree angles or
can be custom ordered to any degree angle to fit specialized
corners and cross fences.
